Meet the Team
In order to provide the highest level of service, we are building a team that is not only competent, but unusually warm and friendly. People like this are not easy to find. We are very fortunate to be able to say you’ll notice the difference on your first visit!
CARMEN
Receptionist/Patient Care Coordinator
Carmen has been in the dental field for 25 years since earning her associate’s degree in accounting from Inter American University of Puerto Rico. Carmen is very dependable and an amazing team player, and our patients enjoy seeing her familiar face when they visit our office. Her favorite part of our practice is our great team and our genuine care for our patients. With a great understanding of each of our provided treatments, Carmen is able to help our patients understand their treatment process. Carmen has two Yorkies, Lola and Lulu, who she loves to spoil with treats and car rides. When she isn’t at the office, Carmen enjoys time with her kids, family, and antiquing.
JALEN
Front Desk Coordinator
Jalen is a Maryland native who attended Dawn Career Institute in Delaware before joining our team in 2023. Currently, she is certified in both Dental Assistant and Front Desk Coordinator, which allows her to provide exemplary care to our patients. For her, making patients smile when they receive new teeth and helping boost their confidence is extremely rewarding! When she isn’t at our office, she enjoys expanding her education as an esthetician. Her new puppy Sweetie, a mini poodle, keeps her active and busy.
KATIE
Dental Assistant
Katie’s passion for helping people led her to her dental assisting career. Upon graduating in the top of her class at EduDent School of Dental Assisting, Katie had the opportunity to join the team here at Pleasant Dental. She has been able to continue her education and develop her skills to become a true craftsman of her trade. She enjoys working each day with her dental family, brightening the spirits of those she meets one healthy smile at a time.
CATHY
Dental Assistant
Born in Puerto Rico, Cathy came to the United States with a goal to pursue her education. With determination, she graduated from Orlando Vocational Technical and has been working in the dental field for over 20 years. Her extensive knowledge and calming personality help comfort patients before, during, and after dental treatment. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, working out, and spending time with family and friends. She is a mother of two children, Justin and Janelys, and also has two loving pets, Kimbo and Kiki.
